The 2026 Summer Reading Program: Plant a Seed, Read has ended! Thank you so much to our wonderful patrons and community for participating!
This year, the Summer Reading Program featured agriculture, nature, and history! Just as a farm grows food that nourishes our bodies, a library grows ideas that nourish our brains! With Plant a Seed, Read, we demonstrated how both food and stories connect us to our family, culture, economy, and ecology. This year’s summer reading program focused on exploring culture, history, science, health, and human connection!
The 2026 Summer Reading program was a huge success! This year, we had 307 readers who read a whopping total of 386,585 minutes! This is our second year using Beanstack, and we’ve gotten rave reviews! We hope to continue to fine tune the program for easy access and use.
