The Genealogy and Local History Room is located on the second floor of the Main Library. It provides materials and support for research in:

  • Family history
  • History of Warren County and the surrounding area

The collection has a large number of books, booklets, microfilm and microfiche as well as some scrapbooks of interest.

The primary focus of the collection is Warren County and adjacent counties although it contains materials on other Illinois counties, on the state of Illinois and on other states, particularly those states from which our ancestors came.
