Children are made readers on the laps of their parents.

Emilie Buchwald

What to Expect

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless.

Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your child starts kindergarten. After every 100 books, come to the library to celebrate your success with a photo. When you reach 500 books, you will receive a free book as an award. A certificate and another free book are awarded upon completion of the program.
