Warren County Public Library December, January, and February 2025-2026 Newsletter What's Happening: Youth Storytime: Every Saturday at 10am (No January) Home School Fridays: The first Friday of every month, Homeschool families will meet at 10am to learn from local Programmers in our community! (No January) Ready Set Grow: Ages 0-5 years will meet at 10am on the first Friday of each month (No January) to hear stories, music, play, do activities, and more! Playgroup with the Regional Office of Education: The second Thursday of every month at 10am. Hear stories, play with toys, and socialize with other parents and children. Intended for young children 0 to age 3. (No ROE in May, June, and July). Family Literacy Night: Activity night for the family from 5:30 to 7pm on the third Tuesday of every month. (No ROE in December, January, May, June, and July). Special thank you to the ROE for hosting these events. Youth and Teen Club Events: Dungeons and Dragons: Wednesdays from 5-7pm Kids 7-12 years old: December 3 Teens and Adults (13 and up): December 10 December 17: All Ages Holiday Dungeons and Dragons Gathering Lego Challenge Build: Thursdays from 4-5pm, Ages 5 and up Pokemon Club: Quarterly Trading and Gaming and Crafts (December 9, March 10) from 5-6pm. Ages 7 and up. Library hours: Monday through Thursday from 8am to 8pm. Friday and Saturday from 8am to 5pm, Sunday Closed Closed on Wednesday, December 24 for Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 25 for Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 31 for New Year's Eve, and Thursday, January 1 for New Year's Day. Warren County Public Library December, January, and February 2025-2026 Newsletter What's Happening: Youth Events: Christmas on the Square: December 5 from 5 to 8pm: Christmas Karaoke, Crafts, Snacks, and more! Who Framed Santa Escape Room: December 11 at 4pm: Play with a group or join a group! Don't miss out on this holiday mystery! Stuffed Animal Sleepover: January 16 at 4pm: Bring a stuffed buddy for a sleepover adventure at the library! Stuffed animal storytime: January 17 at 10am: Hear a story with donuts and juice and see all the adventures your stuffed buddy was up to at the library! Safe Sitter Class and Hands-only CPR Class: January 19 from 9am-3pm: Bring a bagged lunch and bottle of water. Ages 6th grade and older. Learn babysitting skills and hands-only CPR and AED. Pre-registration required. Forms available at the library. Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover: Stop in during the month of February to pick a wrapped book based only by its description. You may find a new favorite book! Take and Make Kits: December: Snowman Snowball Shooters January: No Take and Make in January February: Friendship Bracelets New! Teen Book Bundles: Winter Book Bundle: Register on Beanstack to be one of ten to receive a book bundle for winter. You will receive a bag with a selected winter/Christmas themed library book to read. When you complete the boo, go on Beanstack and complete the form to earn a badge towards free books. Also in the bundles, you will get a seasonal craft and goodies to keep! Just return the book along with your review on Beanstack! Register now to reserve your spot at wcplibrary.beanstack.org! Starts November 24 and ends December 20.
