Our Crafty Fridays Series continue during Summer Reading! Points awarded for attending a craft. Turn yourself into an outdoor insect by making your very own wings. Craft will take place in the Children's Room.

Fantastic Foam and More with Absolute Science

This show will even make your hair stand up! Experience items disappearing in clear liquids and the power of a Van De Graaff generator. But no show is complete without foam, LOTS of foam with a foam experiment where the children are the stars!  

Canceled Rules of the Road Refresher Course

A representative from Jesse White's office will update drivers on current rules of the road, review the vision and driving exams, and prepare drivers for the general written and road sign exams.

Susan Van Kirk Author Visit

Join us for a book reading and signing event with Susan Van Kirk on Wednesday, August 10th at 4pm! Susan Van Kirk's latest novel, "Death in a Pale Hue" kicks off the Art Center Mysteries inspired by the Buchanan Center for the Arts!

An Evening with Marlee Matlin

In celebration of Deaf Awareness Month, Marlee Matlin joins Illinois Libraries Present to share the highs and lows of her Hollywood career and journeys as an activist. The youngest recipient of the Best Actress Oscar, Matlin’s acting career recently achieved another milestone as her 2021 film CODA swept every category it was nominated in at the 2022 Academy Awards. The event will be held virtually on Wednesday, September 14 at 7 p.m.

October Book Discussion: The Night Circus

Thursday, October 27th @ 5:30pm | ZOOM | The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night. Behind the scenes wages a long, mysterious competition between two star-crossed magicians; the circus is a stage for a battle of imagination, will, and love.

It's Warren County Public Library's annual Halloween story time and trick or treat event celebrating fun, fall, and the community we serve.
