DESCRIPTION:Join us Thursday\, November 30th @ 5pm to discuss the memoir “Educated” by Tara Westover. Books will be available for pick up\, but supply will be limited. Please only take a book if you plan on participating. \nBorn to survivalists in the mountains\, Tara Westover had no formal education for 17 years until she began to educate herself\, transformed on her quest for knowledge that took her to Harvard and Cambridge. Westover has shared a coming-of-age story of fierce family loyalty and the grief of severing the closest of ties that gets to the heart of education: the ability to see your life through new eyes and the will to change it.
