Manga 101
Don't know how to draw manga? Learn at Manga 101.

Manga Contest
Final drawing must be on paper 8.5" x 11"
May use colored pencil, pencil, or manga marker
Deadline: July 21st
Winners from age groups 13 & under and 14-20 will be awarded a prize from the library! All drawings will be displayed in the library's Cavanaugh Lounge.

Computer Classes in July
Tuesdays @ 10am
This is an introductory class for those interested in Microsoft Word. Learn how to create, edit, format, and save documents in Word. It costs $1.00 to reserve your seat. Sign up today; space is limited.

The Library has partnered with the Illinois E-Pay Program to provide you with a secure, convenient, and easy way to make payments for fines and fees, lost materials, item(s) purchased, gifts and donations to the library.

"Adventure Awaits" at the library. The Warren County Public Library's Reading Program begins May 26th.


Knowledge is Power
A “Kill a Watt EZ” power meter is now available to check out. The power meter measures the amount of electricity needed to operate your appliances. Along with the meter is an informational brochure containing detailed information on reducing electric usage. Meters can be checked out for up to one week.

ebooks Now Available
eBooks (electronic books) are digital books you can view on your computer. They are easy, convenient, and best of all, impossible to return late. eBooks can be located using the Catalog. Search “eBook” for a list of all available titles.
You must have Adobe® Reader® or Adobe Digital Editions to preview or read eBooks. To check out an eBook, you must be logged in. Call the library with questions, 734-3166.

Databases at the Library
WilsonSelectPlus and Novelist/Novelist K-8 are online resources to explore.
WilsonSelectPlus
contains many full-text periodical articles in science, humanities, education and business.
Novelist and Novelist K-8 (in library only) or
Novelist and Novelist K-8 (at home)
are searchable databases of fiction titles. Both contain book reviews, recommended reading lists, and book discussion guides. Novelist K-8 is designed for teachers and students.
